Gingerism in the UK is a full fledged epidemic!

The BBC recently published this article comparing ginger-hating to racism. Some families are choosing to move from their homes in order to escape the perpetrators a.k.a South Park fans.

Sure, here in North America, there is the taunting and the playground mockery, but apparently our European ginger friends get it much worse.

This golden tressed 23 year old is a two-time Olympic gold medalist - how fitting.

More impressively, the little tyke under went 2 open heart surgeries before his first birthday, sponsored for skateboarding by 7 and skating the ramps with Tony Hawk by 9.

In the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, White scored 48.4 (highest score possible is 50) on his second run.

The silver medal score was 45.

Wow.

Another Red-Haired Beauty

Lily Cole, model, actress, red head.

This 19 year old model from England was named model of the year in 2004, she can be seen in the online movie RAGE (ft. Ewen McGregor in drag!), or acting beside Johnny Depp in The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

Not only is she an accomplished model and actress, she's a smart one! What a rarity. She's currently studying History of Art at the University of Cambridge.

Oh, and don't let her doe-eyed angelic appearance fool you. Lily posed nude for the French Playboy a few years back and has recently done it again for the good ol' American edition.

Ah, Jenny Lewis. The lead singer of Rilo Kiley with two wonderful solo albums. The Rabbit Fur Coat feat. The Watson Twins is a folky, dreamy album while Acid Tongue is pure pop fun. The combination of her Rilo work with her solo albums creates one well rounded musician.

Might I add, her fashion sense is impeccable!
